NC artists C.Shreve the Professor and OC from NC have both released new albums and are celebrating by performing some of their favorite songs along with some of their favorite artist friends. C.Shreve the Professor

Chris Shreve is a North Carolina based MC/producer & founder of the hip-hop collective Free The Optimus (FTO). The 2-time Carolina Music Award winners (2015 & 2016 Best Hip Hop Group) developed their following & relevance through an unrelenting tour & release schedule, largely driven by Shreve's vision. His one of a kind live performances have helped set the standard in NC for over a decade, and continue to push MCing and production forward. The Professor moniker references his 12 year career as a university professor teaching biostatistics, which coincided with his rise and success as a rapper during the blog era.
